Product Description

MPO patch cords, also known as Multi-fiber Push On Patch Cords, are high-density fiber optic transmission cables. They consist mainly of connectors and fiber optic cables, boasting several significant characteristics:

Design Flexibility: MPO patch cords can be designed with 2 to 12 fibers, and even up to 24 fibers. Currently, 12-fiber MPO connectors are the most widely used.

Efficient Connectivity: MPO connectors, as part of the MT connector series, feature precision connections between guide holes (with a diameter of 0.7mm) and guide pins (PIN pins) on the ferrule end face, ensuring stable and efficient data transmission.

Space Optimization: MPO connectors have the same dimensions as SC connectors but provide much higher density, greatly reducing the occupied space for line ports and cables. This allows for higher-density cabling in a given space, meeting the ever-increasing demand for data transmission.

Wide Applications: MPO patch cords are widely used in fiber optic communication networks, high-density data centers, transmission systems, CATV networks, and other fields. They are also increasingly used in active optical cable components such as AOCs and QSFPs.
